888 Design & Build, an Australian company based in Bali, combines Western building standards with local expertise.
With over 20 completed projects and its headquarters in Jimbaran, it is one of the most reputable players in the Bali villa market.
Their offer of free architectural design of buildings with an area of more than 200 m2 made us take them seriously from the very beginning. This is a rarity in Bali, and it helps to increase the budget without sacrificing the design of larger buildings.
The building standards here are an order of magnitude higher. Everything is designed according to specifications and carefully controlled, starting with the frames and finishing with the last coat of paint. We can say that they also take care of the suppliers: beautiful doors made of local woods and terrazzo finishes are all done personally.
We also like their involvement even before the contract takes effect. They carry out land assessments, budget planning at an early stage, and detail the scope of work during initial calls. And yes, they have a 10-year warranty for construction work.
